simple 1 ton tj

So if u have a long arm and you wont a derale trans cooler its def not going to fit were they intended it to. The upper control arm is in the way but I found a pretty good alternative for rock krawler longer arm, should be the same with any long arm system. First you need to cut the short side of the bracket that holds the trans cooler itself, these will allow the bracket to slide up under the transfer case , next you need to unbolt the cooler from the bracket flip it over and bolt it back on with the round part of the bracket being below the cooler. Then drille three hole's in the skid plate bolting the moded bracket to the skid plate and bolte up the cooler. Its very close to the upper arm but it clears just fine I cycled the suspension best I could in the shop and it still had plenty of room. I still have to finish hooking up the lines up.

Looks killer man!

Got my psc steering installed along with the radiator but not without some bumps. The PSC KIT didn't come with instructions for anything , bleeding line's ,general install nothing.. After calling PSC they told me to check there sight and that's all the info I could get out of them. So I got everything laid out and just process of elimination. The power steering pump the middle hole doesn't go all the way threw the housing like the old pump which really its totally useless and the didn't send a bolt. Kinda sounds petty but after u spend $2000 on something that is specified as a kit for my model tj u would think it would come with all the hard wear and a set of instructions ... Other fun stuff while you're doing these is the steering shaft that was prob the hardest part of all was getting the plastic rod drilled out and the shafted knocked into its self ( the psc box is about 2" longer than stock) I didn't wont to take it totally out so I used an extension to beat it back end threw the grill. All and all the psc kit is awesome really makes a huge difference when you're sitting still and need to turn.

The Griffen radiator install flawless bolted right up its about .25 thicker than the stock. Everything is welded no epoxy even the drain plug is metal.20131017_221932.jpg

My only concern is the length of the feed tub from the res to the pump. They want it as short as possible. I had mine mounted with about 11-12" of hose, and it sucked it flat first time everything was good and hot and my engine RPM's were up. I had to shorten mine to where it was only about 5-6" long before it would stop sucking flat. Your situation may be different all depending on the volume your pump is moving, I was using a GM LS motor style pump.

The kit was made for it to bolt in that location it has a bracket to hold the res and it goes behind the master cylinder. How long did it take it to collapse?

About an hr into the ride, everything was good and warm, mix that with a 6k rpm throttle up a hill, it sucked it flat in a hurry.

If I got my tj rpms above 4500 I think I might have worse problems than a power steering hose . I drove it today wow. I didn't have a steering stabilizer so it did have a little shimmy to the steering wheel over 60. I cant feel nothing im going to have to relearn how to drive it again...

Yea, full hydro is super sensitive and doesn't have feedback like you are used to.

its assist

What my jeep was built for.... hahaha redlyner these is for you hahaha..

Anybody that has a tj now's how crappy the back up lights are and visibility. Since ive added my double din Ive been wonting to add a back up camera and some lights. I got to looking and found some leds on amazon and a camera for about $70 shipped. Wiring was simply used the reverse light power wire to open a relay from the battery making the leds and the camera activate. Also change out my mile marker for a warn zeon 8000 and wow what a difference. My mile marker has never let me down but the warn is a lot nice and seems to have more line pull plus a brake were the mm didn't.

So after playing with the leds reverse lights got me wonting to start my rock light project. After looking at several kits they were ether way over priced or just crappy products. Once again I found my self on amazon looking at led light and ran across some that were water proof and after reading a bunch of reviews they sounded pretty tuff. I ordered 48 pairs (each pair has 4 leds) now I had to figure out how I was going to mount theme. After doing some searching I indeed up using magnets to hold them to the body. Wired the lights into my spod tada I got rock lights.

Started mocking up my coilover's , ended up ordering them threw Carolina truggys along with the upper mount they had by far the best price I could find. For now my wheel base is going to be around 101" with 5" of up travel....

Got my raceline wheels in to day and there awsome. Got one mounted up and the back spacing is perfect. I think I'm going to have to raise the front up 1" to get everything level plus it will Def help with clearance until I get coilover's for the front.
