Jealous, I've been wanting to do a 4Bt swap in something for a DD.

Today i started tearing down my rear waggy dana 44. i got it at the local junk yard for $100.00. it was pouring down rain and i forgot to pull the diff and look at it before i purchased it.

WELL......

needless to say i will not be buying another axle without pulling the diff again. i had to beat the drums off with a sledge hammer...lol. then when i unbolted the shafts they would not come out. the splines were rusted together. so it took a ford redbelly with a log chain on one side and a 245 massey furgusson on the other to pull them out. :gitrdun: i dont think anything was dammaged though. so i will be sending all that junk to the sand blaster now.

looks like fun.....I wonder how much it will cost to get a 29' tralier sandblasted? LOL

I dont know but how about throwing the axle in with it......or my whole Jeep. LoL

because the it has right at 300 ft lbs and fuel economy.

is your a 4bt or a 4b?

what is yours? i cant be a 4bt with 700hp can it? you must have a 6bt in it. i am going use the air to water if i can find one...lol. i am just puting the hx30 on it and thats about it.

mine has over 700 ft lbs
i was just screwing with ya
are you looking to ad some HP to it?
are you running air to water or air to air cooler?

ft lbs stands for Torque itsaround 325-350 hp
and yes it has a turbo custom made for it makes plenty of boost
yes it is a 4 cyl cummins b model with a ve pump
no air to air or air to water (i don't stay in it that long)
i was raised in the edge of hamT what part you from

im not reallly an idiot. i just miss read it last night...lol. still 700 ft.lbs is alot of power out of a 4bt. I live near the Flea Market.

sometimes i think so...lol
