Pretty slick. I assume that's the back end of a Comanche. Would be curious to know how they tied it together, given the lack of frame and all.

I would assume they used the unibody of the xj, and somehow attached the frame section of the mj, although I have no idea how Chrysler did it to start with....

I know of one for sale by a NAXJA friend. It's a 4door xj with a MJ from the back of the cab grafted together. At least that is how I remember it.....

I don't know, but I'm only aware of it because someone at my old job actually drove one. I was never able to figure out who it was though. First time I saw it I was like WTF, why would you put that on your Jeep. Next time I saw it, it was facing the other way and I saw the hardshell tire cover and realized this was not an aftermarket job. It was at that point I swore I would never own a JK of any type.

Well, it weighs 13k pounds, so it literally might have redundant everything. But more likely it's an incorrect interpretation of high and low range, OR it has a hydrid drivetrain that could run in full electric mode for silent crawling which would actually be kinda cool.
