Return of the 7.3 SD

Everything from a 4.8 to an LS9 are basically the same size.

They've used more than one RPO code over. LT1 crappy 350 vs new hotness...and LS6 454 vs much newer LS 5.7.

Finally somebody put a ford in a Chevy. It’s normally small blocks or LS’ in everything. Better yet in a square body. There’s some Chevy purists butt hurt I’m sure.
Purists are funny like that.
When I married my wife, I put a Christian in a Catholic body. Her folks weren't thrilled.
She's yet to be butt hurt however. Probably won't happen either.

I have no problem swapping Ford VS Chevy but that Godzilla swap seems a little silly. I guess it just bragging rights for the Ford Crowd but $ for $ it would still get gapped by a 200,000 mile LS.

New take outs…not sure what international shipping would cost, plus you’d need a controller of sorts…but damn. Try to do a 500hp and rebuilt transmission for $7-10k today. Not to mention, from what I’m seeing that’s 50,000mile coyote pricing.

How many people would it piss off if I put one of these in my jeep?

In the event I were ever to get off my ass, there are a handful of projects I’d want to dump a Godzilla in. If you have the space, I don’t see why you wouldn’t. If I remember correctly if you have the space for a coyote you have a space for a Godzilla.

I think if I removed the rear seat, it should fit back there. That'll be about as close as it ever gets to actually being swapped in

Figured I'd inquire...

I asked about the computer included and shipping to South Carolina.

Hello Glenn,

Yes the engines are takeout packages with only delivery mileage on them. The odometer usually reads right around 15kms.

The pcm that is included is the factory ford part, it can be unlocked and will run the engine and control the transmission. Many of our customers are using this option. Others are using aftermarket stand alone computers from OBR, holley, big stuff plus or Haltech.

Shipping and brokerage fees will be around $750 USD

So that would be about $7K to the door. $9200 canadian is about $6200 US + $750 shipping and fees.

DO IT! I'd be envious!

Fuuuuck.
Why did you post this

My question is are the under hood pictures of the Ford in factory trim this uncluttered? This is impressive in itself to me.

Those guys are putting out damn good work across the board. But their ‘restomod’ work is some of the best around. Honestly, when I first heard about them, I thought they were just another fly by night shop trying to capitalize on the state of affairs…but their work is legit and I haven’t seen any cut corners come out of their shop.
