MOTD (Meme of the Day)

Cant tell kids nothing.
I did dumb in my day, but never had anything with enough power to do that dumb. I wont bother telling y'all how far he towed that ish...lets just say he crossed state lineS...

Oh and fwiw me and @Skyhik5jr actually installed the lift kit on that truck for him..3? years ago. Add its a 6.0 without head studs now has it been deleted.

Damn....
That is .5 mile from my house. That marathon station is known as "Brownie's" locally and is in downtown Sharon,SC
The kid towing it graduated high school in 2018, he is long time friends with my son, lives 4 doors down.
He's made it to NC4x4...what a small fawking world.

He asked my son to ride along on this adventure and my son said hell naw.
Kid works with is dad for Blythe construction. Apprently they sub out dump truck drivers to haul night shift for $100/hr and pay all fuel costs he went and bought the truck to make some extra coin.

Oh and the picture was taken by my son's girlfriend's uncle..small world indeed.

So you gonna find out the brand of trailer?

Its off the trailer I dont have strapped down pics.
The truck was bro squatted already but the load makes it worse. FYI I lifted it level he removed the rear springs after I claim no party to the squat shit.

@Jody Treadway reckon that rear end is still true and square. I'd like to see the patern on that baby now.

Edit: anybody bored enough to get relative figures and do the math on that feat of stupidity?

 yet another reason we have laws for the ignorant.

Freak out if you want, but that's probably about a 20-25k pound truck. And that 6.0 F250/350 has the same suspension arms, axles, brakes, and transmission as a F450 or F550 which is rated to tow about 25k if I remember correctly. So yes, the truck springs are overloaded and the trailer is ready to die, but it's not as crazy as you think.

I'm pretty sure the f450 and 550 have a different rear axle and housing design. Actually I'm positive.....it's pure beef. And plenty of engineered differences in the frame and mounts. Your talking to a guy whose probably upfitted near a hundred or so Ford chassis from F250 to F550 and bigger.
I've even split and lenthened/shortened the frame on a few. The double thinckness and placement of such and related varies quite a bit.

My F350 is Dana 60/Dana 80

Pretty sure the 550 is Dana 80/Dana 110

110 was one of the variations....some also have square shape axle tubes much like a Rockwell and a drop out like a nine inch. Thick fabricated housing with a weld seem down the fabricated tubes.

I remember them well because we had to redesign around them..

And the trailer has 2 3.5K axles and probably C or D rated tires...

Don't care about facts, I'm just here to stir the pot. Pretty sure you could do it with a new 1/2 ton if an old 6.0 could do it.

And was carrying most of the weight. Truck is negligible. Definitely could have been an old S10 Chevy to pull it with.

My 7.3 6spd regularly towes 55k and still pulls Black Mtn at 70mph/26mpg.
