Cl find of the day

My first car was one of these. Wish I still had it if they are worth that much. I paid $1000 for mine in 88 with 70k miles and excellent condition.

I had a 82 corolla hatch w the 3Tc and 5 speed in the 90s. It was fun to drive /quick enough to pass on 2 lanes and pretty good mpg. I loaned it to my brother working out of town, he left the keys in it on a jobsite and it was stolen and never found :kaioken:

But the Boss in it would definitely be fun.

Id wager it's not a real boss. If it were, there'd be pics showcasing just the engine. The price would be a lot higher. And for whatever reason, people think every pre-71 ford engine is a boss/scj/cj...yet were less than 5-6000 cumulatively.

Just like every 350 is a four bolt main vette engine.I understand the advantages of a four bolt main block but honestly Ive never saw a 2 bolt block shit the crank out.I know it can happen but for 90% of applications a two bolt is plenty.

And in fact many folks building race engines will prefer the 2 bolt mains so they can build splayed end caps.

They are neat, but in a "I have this cool 2wd motorcycle from 1960's Russia that my crazy uncle gave me" way, not a "I paid $7500 for an antiquated, underpowered, poorly suspended 2wd motorcycle that I can't get parts for" sort of way.

That price is in Christini territory, and I know which I'd rather have:

They are not for recreational riders, competition riding only....

After seeing it on craigslist I looked them up on youtube. They're a really cool concept but seem way under powered

If by "way underpowered" you mean "7 HP and a top speed of 35MPH", then yes. I don't consider that street legal any more than the average traffic-blocking scooter.

From their site, I quote:
"Powerful - Full time front and rear wheel drive with superior torque mean you can tow up to 2,000 lbs."

Then flip to the spec tab, where it has 9.1 ft-lb of torque.

Someone is drinking their own Kool-Aid at Rokon.

I retract my previous scooter statement. The Yamaha SMAX (I just looked up a random scooter) has exactly twice the power and is exactly half the price. So it's faster, more powerful, and costs less. And it's just a scooter.

Lol so I found this video.... if you can sacrifice 12 minutes of your life that you will never get back I'm sure you will get a good laugh out of it. The camera man is a real tard, he would be perfect for the "Trailer Park Boys" series on Netflix lol.

I like when their long haired "motorcycle expert" showed up. Really felt like a reality TV show at that point.
