if you think that XJ is "too crazy" next one will be 15-16" lift, 46s or 54s, 9"rear,whatever i can find for front, fully custom for one of the teams inside and out but all the way this time with all the accessories. I'm gonna try to brake the record for biggest/tallest/monster truck Cherokee around here anyways and hopefully high enough to park honda under it....that would be an awesome picture.

Yeah Will, your jeep was on here for months before I bought it. You should have posted a "no one likes me thread" Then I could have bought it from a popular person. Although I might not have been able to afford it then.

ohh come on. whats wrong with building XJs that can reach the sky and look good. I look at it like this: 2 ways in life when it comes to cars of how to get attention and feel like your someone: 1. be rich in a Vette, Benz, Porshe, etc... or 2. guys like us can build BIG ASS FANCY Jeeps and Trucks that towers over any car or truck, paint it some fancy paint job to really stick out and whalla, they don't even notice the vette next to ya, except that maybe could be a ramp show!!!

I don't think 17" of lift and 54's on a Cherokee are gona break any records. Oh and the difference between your imaginary jeep and this one is he used a decent set of axles

I'd run that. Get the 40 spline setup and a Fabbed housing, Daytona pinion bearings, $$$$ 3rd member. Truss accordingly. The weight of the vehicle is still the same, and the lower the gearing gets, the stronger it is in a 9". But I guess by the time you did that, you could buy a set or two of Rockwells.
 
Most of us that actually wheel learned early on we want to be as low as possible with as much ground clearance as possible. My Jeep has 37" tires and 4" of lift. I'm pitiful by your standards. I should be ashamed of my Jeep.

What you're doing is fine Jeppster, but maybe you'd find more support on another forum. I can't suggest one because what you're proposing is dumb as shit, but I'm sure there's a place out there for you.

If you're just trying to impress school kids, maybe you should get an ice cream truck next time around.
 
Mine only has 4.5" of lift with 42's, I guess it's a lowrider...

That's cool though, I can sell my old Lincoln. I've got the wheeler and lowrider in one...
