5/13-15/11 Spring Open Invite at The Flats

I really had a great time today, Pinky went even in the mud! She loves to play, oh and so do I. lol Will be back again, of course. Nice trails added btw. Got to love The flats! Thanks to all you guys and gals for a welcoming awesome time!!!

what kind of asshat comment is that!:flipoff:

You just pissed cuz we generally have the most active offroad group in the area?
I was kinda thinking the same thing Scott.
I hate I missed seeing you trail hogs beating on the rocks today.
When I go on a ride such as this half of the fun is to get out and watch others tear their junk up.:driver:

As one for the founding members of ROCK CORPS I think you owe the BIG DIXE BOGGER'S an apology. They have the right to use our trail's just like everyone else.
And on a side note speaking for myself not on rock corp's behalf you sir can kiss my a**. I would much rather see them roll in 50 strong as a tight nit group to put on a show. We have 2 invite's a year yes it's going to be crowded i am sorry for that. If you don't wont to wait get here first and go in front it's a first come first serve basis deal with it!
you don't need to bad mouth anyone that I associate with :flipoff::kaioken::kaioken:

I definately agrre w/ you Brian on all accounts. The dude must be a rookie. Other wise he'd realize if you put that many vehicles in such a small place you will have traffic jams. I've come to realize in this hobby you must hurry up to wait.

Hopefully the big dixie trail hogs don't hoard the trails today!!!!

those trail hoards put on a nice show. i am a fan of the sound of the rev limiter.

cant wait for the farm. i may ride to the flats tomorrow. anything going on tomorrow?

A garage post has been started for the asshatery.

Let's see some more pics and vids? What's this I hear about a ramp and a certain orange MJ?

Today (Saturday) was just the perfect day- my wife and I had a blast. We would like to say thanks to everyone who assisted us and our bone- stock JK with worn down street tires! It was my wife's first time wheeling, and the first time I've been wheeling in years. I'm happy those tires will soon need to be replaced because they are woefully inadequate.

It was just awesome standing by The Hill and Rock Ledge watching y'all with the hard core rigs ripping up those hills- absolutely amazing. Every direction I looked held a picture perfect shot of a rugged 4x4.

Also, @ Rock Corps- Thank you for hosting such an awesome event. Lots of good people there today.

Woo hoo. Day 3 and looking forward to some more wheelin. Sounded like it rained a little during the night but looking like another nice day. Wake up everybody and let's go sling some mud and rocks.

Brad leave me some rocks to play on. . .Ill be there in a few hours. . .

Isn't that the second time you have destroyed that crank pulley?

Its been about 5 pulleys all told! :shaking:

I think as the front springs settled in more and more each minor fix became ineffective!

On my way to the shop now to Fix this problem once and for all...I hope!

As always...breaking on the trail is better than drivin a new car to work!!
Thanks again Rock Corps!!

We had a great time yesterday. Thanks to Rock Corps for putting this together. Looking forward to the next one!!

Thanks RC Saturday was a great time. However, some of those trials holly sh*t :shaking:... I need to drop the 44's axles and go with 60's and forget the 35's you need a minimum of at least 37’s...:driver:

Sure was fun...........

Big thanks to everyone that came!!We had a blast! The weather was perfect and so was the wheeling!I hope everyone had a great time.

Hopefully the big dixie trail hogs don't hoard the trails today!!!!

We wheeled the entire weekend and at no point came across any of the clubs or groups holding anyone up, certainly not the boggers. The people that were holding the trails up that we came across were just inexperienced wheelers having a little trouble with the slick trails and causing some real clusterf**ks. Can't say Ive ever been to an event where I came across the boggers ever holding me or my group up.

I was riding along with 71chevytruckguy all weekend and we had a long list of breakage and fixes, including radiator, fan, fuel pump, axle shaft, u joint, and finally what ended our Sunday wheeling a twisted front driveshaft. We actually followed DRKelly around most of saturday and were blown away by how beasty his sami was, not to mention his no fear driving style.

Thanks to all the Rock Corps guys for putting this event on, we had an absolute blast, great people, some of the best trails around, and that bbq sandwich was good as hell too.

Special Thanks to Brian (LooseCannon) for coming to our rescue twice over the weekend, once on saturday when the fuel pump went out and we snapped a shaft, and again today when we snapped the front driveshaft on the right side of easy street.

Special Thanks also to (I believe, forgive me If Im wrong) Chris's wife for grabbing us water for the radiator from home, we ended up finding someone with water to spare, but it still really stood out for anyone to be so willing to help someone they didn't know.

anytime that's what we are here for.

I had an awesome time this weekend. I'd like to thank everyone who braved the weather reports and came out. No Rain(rubbing it in) at all of Saturday wheeling. A 30 min shower on Friday evening made the trails interesting. A late night shower Sat night, made them interesting today. The bright side was they actually was no dust! Mud was minimal, but as always placed just right! LOL
I worked the gate for the first part of Saturday, then run errands and got parts, done some welding, and help fix an issue on twist it.
Great to meet some new folks, awesome to see some old friends.
Had a great time still trying to get the "feel" of my new rig.
Personally I couldn't ask for a better weekend.

And yeah that was Cindy, Chris Coleys better half that went after water. Bless her, she didn't know how much, so she brought all she could, she had three milk jugs full, and a tote, she emptied her son's toys out of and put another 3 gallons in and brought it(with no top) in her front seat of her Honda.

Had an awsome time sat. spectating. Cant wait to get my rig finished. Thanks for everyone involved in the event, seem to run preaty smooth. Those BDB put on a great show an so did some of the others. I think thats what most spectators go to watch. Thanks again Crawler Nut.

I had a great time too right up until Jason aka jaybird1ton broke my rear axleshaft. Yuk yuk. Thanks to Danny for bringing me home and thanks to everybody that came out. Hopefully everybody had a great time and hope to see everyone on the trails again soon.

Thanks to Rock Corps for an awesome ride....well worth the drive for us...!!! Like Chip said, the weather turned out perfect. Just enuf rain to settle the dust (to none) & put a top layer of mud for some real challenge on the trails.

Jeep did great on Saturday even tried being a squirrel @ the top of Laurel Lane, climbed a tree & got crossed up, decided to pull rope to straighten up & come on out, rather than keep trying & use it to drag jeep back on it's wheels...Some BADASS Ravines y'all got out there!!

Today Jeep played dead with charging issues, so we loaded up and headed for home...Thanks to Chris & Rodney from Rock Corps for helpin' out!!

i had a blast this weekend!
i wheeled with some old faces that i have not seen in a long time, met some new faces, spent time with fellow club members and even got to pimp around in upnover2.
the weather was great i even enjoyed the short down pour saturday night.
but the best part is that my rig still moves, steers and stops when it got home after i pounded on it for 2 days with the old amc 360 turning 6500 rpm many times

Had an abolustle blast. Was great finally wheel my freshly built rig. xjfreakho pretty much summed up the breakage list. Also a huge THANKS to every body that helped out with the recovery efforts on my jeep and gettin it back on the trails. Way to many too list. If yall ever need something on the trail, don't hesatate to ask. Yall are all great folks can't wait to wheel with yall again!
