Not finished but you get the idea. It's supposed to look like a huge Lego brick. It's got 12 shelves inside. The end product will stand on its end.

Oh and if you're wondering why there's so much filler on the knobs, it's because the hole saw got rowdy.

That would have been waaaay harder. I spent 30-40 minutes screwing around trying to get the exhaust loose. Header bolts came right off and it was loose at the joint, but the ubolt had deformed it too much. I finally gave up and just dropped it down to the floor. Bellhousing bolts were easy. 3 extensions on an impact and about 1 minute for all the rear facing ones.

That is interesting. Was that how it was done or was that something someone did to make it work to their specifications?

Makes me want to go visit family in Aiken. Have access to several ponds down there. Looks like a good time was had.

Hahah. We were just surprised the heifer walked away and let us check on him. That herd is really personable though. One of em will walk up to you and nudge you with her head till you scratch her neck and head.

We don’t do the no fun ring since we mainly sell yearlings. Don’t wanna limit the market in some cases. There may be some Holstein still in the bloodline since they used to have a dairy 20 some years ago but most of these are all angus with some black whiteface (angus/Hereford Cross) and the occasional Charolais here and there.

Probably powered by a line shaft back in the day. Looks like it originally only had 3 or 4 speeds available. Somebody added the trannys which gave the lathe way more speed selection options.
