Steve has a birth mark on the right side of his face around the eye. You can't miss him.

Hell I'm near Carowinds close to the old PTL I hear gun fire every Sunday, most lots are 1/4 acre, older ones are 2-2 acres, long as lead not coming on my property whats the problem. People!

“It scares me”

I live in a subdivision in the county, subject to county regs I get this.
Like you’re m ok with the gun fire,until it starts crossing property lines, mostly mine. It’s been an issue in the past, that sort of took care of itself .
My neighbors get all up in arms about it, and if someone lights off a tannerite can, oh lawd help us all !
‘Terd knows where I live and isn’t far away, so I poke at him and Duane about this stuff.

So, you are the closest thing to a doc around here....remote fishing trip, no deep-sleep anesthesia...would you pull it out or push it through?

Well #1 I'd ask one of our EMS guys here

But if it were me, or say, my son, I think I'd cut it off real close to the skin, and leave it there until could get to somebody who knows WTF they are doing and has real surgical gear. And... deep-ass anesthesia lol.
There's no way it's going to be pretty no matter wtf you do.

You live in a “subdivision” it’s a little more secluded but you have neighbors you could throw rocks at....

I do....today.
I also have 86 acres Im paying off as fast as I can so I can no longer see or hear any neighbors.

Replaced that south side today....just to brace a little shim wear plate back it and go some more. Tooling takes a beating and really racks up the cycle counts.

Push it through cut the barb and pull it back out the way it came. Super glue and a couple shots you good to go.
