Are the Colorados part of the Silverado model?


No, but it is a truck. Cafe standards look at "trucks" and "cars." Example: the ram V-10 got such atrocious mileage when it came out in the 90s that they were dipping below the mandated CAFE minimum. So Chrysler took a Neon, slapped a silly retro transit van style body on it, and called it a "truck." And the rest of us were stuck staring at the PT Cruiser.
