Motobilt 13 bolt shave cover review?

@Barnes 4wd foe the win! Quality, local stuff.

I would also return it. You shouldn't have to tighten it down that way. For what you paid it should sit flat as a pancake so you don't risk stripping a hole. Imagine if you have to do a trail repair and it wont seal right because a hole is stripped and you don't have time to wait for globs and globs of RTV to set up.

I was trying to save $150, but you get what you pay for I guess.

Send that shit back and buy a Barnes or Ruffstuff cover. Both machine there's flat.

Shew. I know the price is cheap but that would piss me off to get one warped that bad.

Just got off the phone with the owner of Motobilt.
He was super nice and told me he would 100% refund me if I wanted to.
He told me he has been building covers just like this in house since the early 2000’s. I think he started blue torch fab and now motobilt.

He said I shouldn’t have an issue with the cover if I tighten it evenly.

He said based on the picture I sent him that he could tell I was in the middle of a build and if it’s a year from now he’ll still refund me if it leaks at all.

I ordered the covers when I had my old 14 bolt so my new one has different threads in the housing. He said he would send me the right bolts for free.

Decisions decisions. o_O
