Hard to believe coming from me never owning a toyota, but I'd stick with the current axles. They will take an insane amount of abuse, and much lighter, awesome ground clearance. The only downside I see is the width.

allright no more thread hijack. Tube work looks very nice and I agree on staying with the yota axles. Spare should be easy to find and upgrades will be cheap as long as rocks are the current fad.

No, Geoff has not made much progress. He made the dash, console, mounted the hydro steering column, and some other small stuff.
