Same here, I've got two pairs on order and I'm hoping there are no real issues.

I'll let Will give all the details... but there is a tube inside the strut that has shown some wear when used in racing applications.

Some people currently running them have cracked the tube. This allows fluid to leak into the rest of strut body which causes trouble for the internal bumpstop.

Honestly I don't know the details on the ORI's. Mark was trying to explain it to me....but I got other things to worry about. I just know there was a possibility of failure the way the were and sent them back to be fixed. From what I understand the issue has been addressed in the newer run shocks. Mine are several months old.


Hoping I get reverse when I bolt this tcase back up...

What gears are you running in the axle housings? Have you calculated your top speed using a glide yet?

Top speed theoretically was around 150-160 MPH i believe.

Why are you worried about reverse? You can push it off the trailer, then you should not need it anymore

i haven't chimed in at, just sat back and watched. but i have to say, this buggy is sweet. i love the look of it, and i hope you kick some ass in it so the west coast guys will put their egos in check.

Well shit...still no reverse after double checking the things I have done to the trans.

And now...it's jammed sideways between the engine and the tcase and with 3 ratchet straps finagling around I still can't get it dislodged...moonbuggys suck already...
