Random Thoughts.....

I saw the same thing earlier this year in MD on 81. They posted a sign stating something about cameras and violators will be issued tickets.
MD has been doing automated speed tickets for awhile. Used to be several of them on 95 north and south of Baltimore and on the beltway. Pass the camera, it tracks you, flash, you get a ticket in the mail. No points, just a $40 fine. I'll be honest, I've received them.
There was a big to-do b/c it came out that they were poorly calibrated and claiming people were going faster than they were. The whole system was taken down for over a year while they recompeted the contract. Back up again.
I don't know about Ohio, but those "in the know" in MD know that they only snap the left most lane....

They were illegal too in some states, we'll see if they are I'm in for about $160 @ $40 lol. Pretty sure they were there just to slow ya down. There were plenty of troopers in and around 30 miles of Columbus.

When we had them in Charlotte back in the day the cameras only did one lane also.
So, this resulted in everybody speeding in the middle and right lanes during rush hour.... increasing the danger than just letting people speed normally.

We got ticketed coming out of a small town on a two lane road up there a few years ago.

The Nature of Depression

Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Through the passing of time and seasons ever maturing.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
As a sprout to full grown majesty ever producing, ever loosing.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Each in season fruits bloom and fade.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
The storms push, the sun baths, and water soaks from the roots to the tips of the highest branches.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Beyond measure it blesses it's surroundings and each creature it contacts.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Rooted and stalwart never speaking.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Beneath the surface decay sets in.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Black death and marching ants corrode its core.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Hollows develope, harbor and shelter for the unsupecting.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Deepening decay latches on, limbs fall and break.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Feeding through it's on destruction slowly it builds up even the platform it rest on.
Strong and sturdy the oak stands.
Until one day. Hollow. Frail. Corroded.
Strong and sturdy the oak Falls.

Just saw this... DAMN, THATS GOOD. Wish I could give it another like. You need to stick your name on it now...that's something that will spread on the Internet.

A few spelling/grammar issues...fixed them below for you, hope it's OK.

The spelling and grammar are not my strong points...thanks you. I might figure out a way to transfer that.
Do you mean sign it?

On another note I got a small group of poetry confiscated in high school. I showed it to a classmate I had a crush on. Next thing I knew I was being met with for suicidal thoughts. I used to really channel myself through writing and drawing. I used to sketch like mad in church. I got caught and my drawings shared....let's say some where not amused.

I wish I could get the poetry back. Is was much darker however.

I have to go to the Panther's game tonight.[emoji22]

My neighbor was crying he has to go to the Panthers game tonight for work. Its 830 kick off hot,........ have to entertain 28 clients in a sky box,......its like watching the game in your living room with 28 people trying to get time with you interrupting the whole game.I get it but, I could think of worse days at work.
Lol no sympathy.

I'd rather be at my real job, or maybe take my wife to the opera.

How does bugger king stay in bizzness? Most of their stores are dirtier than a hog house and their food is awful on a good day.The BKs round here have more peeps working there than customers @ lunchtime. I wonder if the company is proped up by the gub?
Well, I saw a billboard yesterday saying that they now serve burgers for breakfast. And I thought " man, that almost sounds good!"

I keep seeing the advertisement for the Impossible Whopper that tastes "just like a real whopper" and thinking is that really a good thing? I might try it if it DIDN'T taste like a real whopper...

Its actually quite good. I don't mind saying, i like it better than a Whopper, and its among my new favorite sandwiches there.
Its too bad its quite pricey... probably part of how BK is staying afloat

Any of you guys ever have days where you just flat out can't understand what's couple out of people's mouths. Like the volume is fine, but I'm not sure if I'm getting old and need to find an audiologist, or I'm not focused and not capturing what they're saying...or if this is the culmination of a failed education system and the lack of enunciation is creating a new language before my eyes...errr...ears.

"Collaborative spaces" have wasted more public and private funding since 2016 than anyone will ever admit too. Even worse, it will continue to be an endless suck of funding long after the "trendy" feel of the word dies an obscure death because now we're stuck having to deal with the structure that supports all these "movable walls" and bullshit "spaces". Only to put everything back to how we've always done things. So now you'll get 8ft ceilings everywhere because there's no way to run all the ductwork and place additional units to condition the new compartmentalized spaces created from ELIMINATING the "Collaborative spaces" that never were utilized the way they were imagined
