ABC World News, used to do a segment called "Your Money at Work". I believe they stopped the segment.
They would have loved this! I hope you can read it; was printed in the Charlotte Observer Tuesday, 12/30.
Titled "A $349M monument of pork". What this story is about, is a Test Tower Nasa had approved & built, with taxpayer money, in Mississippi. Doesn't say when it was started, but the Program it was built for, was Cancelled, in 2010. The Build, continued until finished this year, 2014. Four years after it use was cancelled. Goes on to talk about cost overruns, cost to mothball it, & cost to maintain, the useless tower!
There are also a couple of other Failed Projects, mentioned. But the Federal Government Always need More money. They can cut Real needs, but Not the Pork!
