Was getting curious on the weight before we added a lot more stuff to car so tonight I got some scales.

With everything piled on it the total weight was 3390. Yea I'm still missing a good bit of stuff but 4000lbs with a spare mounted I think is very realistic.
 
All the interior is cut and ready to mount!

Got all but 4 pieces in my 22gal cell.

Got the chassis tore down for final welding, skid plates, and a few other things. I am gonna try the Hammered paint for now, i figured after a year of racing and some changes i may powder coat.

Chassis is painted. Used the brush on hammered Rust oleum. Turned out pretty good I think.

Been getting it ready for KOH. We are gonna try the LCQ if we dont make it will pay the fee but we are racing.

Got the car running but working on wiring the car then have to make bobdy skins
 
Rear bumper is completly removable, spare tire is mounted on a unit bearing in case we need one. Also the spare tire carrier is built like a trunk, pop the pin and the spare will hinge up with gas shocks and there is a storage space under it for anything you need.

quick question...

How are you keeping the rear lower links from rolling over with the shocks mounted to them? I couldn't see really good but looks like heim joints on both ends?
 
Nice headers. The gran prix I bought had a brand new set of stainless FWD headers in the truck. I'm going to cut the pass side one up and re do it
