WTB: XRC 8 and YJ winch plate

Like the title says. Need a xrc 8 and winch plate for the YJ.

Looking to order it next Wednesday.

Midnight Auto Parts or Crackleheads Pick-a-Part. Both are the cheapest in town. Hours of operation vary.:lol: Sorry, couldnt resist.
 
Why not just get HF's 12k Badland winch & there universal mount plate? Probably get it all for $300+/-.
 
I bought my XRC8 Comp model from 4wheelonline. I got it for $450 with free shipping, and of course no tax.

I used it several times at the last Flats open ride on myself and Adams Sidekick buggy. It worked great, and is reasonably fast. It sucks to spool out though by hand, but I've read that if you clean out the chinese spooge and replace it with some good grease that it will spool out MUCH easier.

Looks like they've got the standard XRC8 model for $284.24 with free shipping. I don't think you are going to beat that.

Yea definitely change the grease in it if you get a smittybilt. I changed mine out and i can free spool it just walking with the cable in 1 hand. Before it was all you could get it to do to free spool any at all.

Looks like I'm ordering the winch from 4wheelonline and getting the winch plate from a guy on the board.

Ordered 2 tow straps today so looks like I've got everything I need.

Thanks for the heads up about the grease I've got a few buddies with the same issue and that was my only concern.
