Earlier this year I put new wheels on my 98 Wrangler. 15 X 10 Eagle Allowy 186's. The backspacing is 3 5/8" with a negative 46 mm offset. Does anyone know the factory wheel offset/backspacing specs. I'm curious about my wheel bearing wear. I noticed that the tires look like they stick out anoter 1/2 " or so. The previous wheels weren't factory so I didn't have anything to go by. Thanks in advance for any info.

Stock backspacing is 5.5" I believe. I replaced my Canyons with some black steelies that have 3.75" of backspacing. I have read many a post where I have seen the wheelbearing argument raised but have yet to see anyone actually attribute a wheel bearing failure to the backspacing of their wheels. HTH
