What's in your Garage?

Many home owners have a garage the auto doesn't fit in, or More likely, the garage is used for storage. In New homes, I'm seeing more of the double-car garage, with a separate garage next to it. I guess some use the Extra one for a shop or yard equipment. Just seems Odd, that you'd have 3 garage spaces, & all are full of Non-auto stuff. I worked beside this one yesterday, & saw the doors open. They need a Barn, but May be in a HOA. :shaking:

I have similar issues, hence why were making changes....but I have 7 cars.
Truck USE to go in the middle bay, but now the camper and tractor go there. First bay is the wife's car, 3rd bay is the jeep and man-cave

I drew this up for another thread a while back about garage size. You can never have too much space.

Crew cab truck and LJ nose to tail in right bay. Jeep hard top and shelves in front. Yukon XL in middle. Right side is work space and the Neon is in there. It usually comes out when working on bigger projects. Also a 4wheeler, power wheels jeep, power wheels 4 wheeler, wagon...

Shot from the personnel door, and much cleaner than normal.

760 sq foot garage, but only 1 door and not crazy tall but it works
~300 sq foot shed next to it
Lean to on the back of the garage that can fit a car and is covered or a open trailer

House has a 2 car carport attached that is hopefully getting enclosed into a full garage this year

I have a three car garage with no cars in it. That is why I am currently Building a big shed/storage building.

I don't have one....but that's why I had my land cleared. I'll get one built eventually.

Hopes and dreams....

I don’t have one yet, wait does that mean I don’t have any hopes and dreams????

5 vehicles...Only 2 of them are indoors. I have a 30x40, a 2 car garage, 3 yard barns and looking to do a 24x36 off the back of my driveway. Mine are primarily packed with NOS/clean OEM 50’s-90’s sheet metal, engines, transmissions, tools, etc. In fairness, I’m pretty sure I could build 6-8 complete vehicles with the parts assortment though.

'66 Cat in the shop bay, '70 Sub in middle bay, '62 Falcon in outer bay, '86 F150, '01 7.3 dually, '78 F250, & '17 F150 all parked in front of the three bays.

Wife gets to park in front of the house.

I’ve got a 20x20 and it’s maxed out. Constant battle to find space. I’ve got a 62 c20 longbed that leaves me about two feet between it and the back wall so I can hide a few things behind it and still get to my ladders if I need them. Can’t open the drivers door it’s so close to the wall. Have to incorporate a few rock climbing maneuvers just to get a weedeater off the wall. My wife used to park in the other space but that hasn’t happened in a year or so. I’ve had an explosion of parts in her spot trying to get the 62 going and just when I get it cleaned out I have a tendency to drag home another truck that doesnt run.

A three car would be ideal. One spot for her car, one for my project car and the third for a workshop space.

My wife parks in the attached garage along with the freezer and some storage.

I park my truck in the yellow garage with some ladders, the jeeps go in the barn, and the shop is tools and whatever Im tinkering on, as well as doubling as my shooting bench.

It changes day to day. Right now, a lot of the real estate in my shop is claimed by the 5 gallon bolt bucket that I dumped out looking for 1 specific bolt. I’ll clean up the mess next week.
