Education Center
Asheboro, North Carolina
(No zoo entrance fee required
for Education Center)
This meeting is to discuss revising the Forest Plan for recreational and other uses at Uwharrie. This revised plan will replace the current management plan which has been in place since 1986. Remember, this how the demise of Tellico started and you see where we have ended at Tellico. If you want to preserve access to OHV areas everyone on this Board should show up in force and make your views known. This will shape the future at Uwharrie for a long time and YOU need to have a say. Please review the plan and the comments that have been submitted. The links are below.
