The LR4 inside of my one ton project

Tonight I installed the S&B cold air intake on my 7.3 that came with the truck.
Took about an hour,
Had oil around my intercooler piping on this side any idea what that may be? I got it all cleaned up...but curious why it would have that much build up as I’m new to Diesel engines.

Oh man oh man, Currie anti rock is great. Currently set at 10.375 center to center , bolted in the center hole of arm, with 2.5 inches of lift.
Drives so much better, pretty tight how I have it set I am planning on adjusting them to be slightly looser.

Worked out in the shop for a few hours this weekend on my kayak rack for my TJ
Got it all tacked together, hopefully get it painted tomorrow night.
Not sure if I’ll add a third rail or not.
( just noticed I didn’t get a picture of it with both rails tacked in)

Got it off the Jeep last night to get everything welded out and then painted. I know it’s odd to have it tied into the bumper but I plan to make it detachable at a later time. I will end up making them slip into the lower 6 inches of upright and quick pin in.
I really don’t love the look of these style racks but mine is growing on me.
And i want to be able to haul 4 kayaks so this is best option.

Been a while since I’ve had any time In the shop.
Appears That I can’t post but one picture at a time, not sure how many times I have paid Tapatalk getting to be a rip off.
Got my bumper finished welded out and painted
Got winch mounted now just need to wire and put the syn rope on.
