So, I haven't been to the coast since labor day. Came down to Morehead this weekend and there are sideways facing stop lights everywhere. Anyone else noticed this trend? It's weird as hell to look at.

Horizontal instead of vertical is not uncommon in high wind areas.
That makes sense and that's what I figured. So how does that work for a color blind person that has no idea whether they go left or right? I have a friend that knows the top is stop and the bottom is go.

I still haven't figured out why the USA uses three lights instead of two like most other countries... People just treat yellow to red and run the red anyway, delayed green, why the extra light?

Try that around here, and a ticket is going to show up in the mail.

I think they should reprogram the lights to do a red/yellow like in the UK. That way, you know when to start building boost. :driver:
