from what I've been told by people who own them, it's slow, but it does the job if you're just trying to get yourself out of a jam. Probably not the best choice if you're trying to be good Samaritan trail leader who winches everybody else over the obstacles but otherwise worth every penny, considering that you can buy 2 or 3 of them for the cost of a "comparable" warn.
