Time for new shocks on the Dodge...the stock ones made it just over 200K miles...

Dodge 3500 CTD dually 2 wheel drive. Use this thing around town and to haul the Jeep to wheeling. Don't carry a lot of weight except when camping...

What would you recommend for replacements?

When I replaced the OEM rear shocks on my 97 CTD 4x4 at 278k, I put on some cheap generic shocks and they are really stiff.

In the rear, i have camper prep package and auxilary overload springs from the factory (pretty sure the same springs as a 3500) and it is really stiff in the back. I would say 90% of the time I have less than 200lbs in the bed though (including toolbox)

However I put some gas charged KYB GR-2's in the front and I like them a lot. I could tell a huge difference in ride. (OEM with 315kmiles)

I had KYB monomax's. Any high pressure monotube is typically going to be better than a twin-tube design for controlling the wheel.
