Well folks I'm 3 for 3 years in a row. Going up Daniel (Sat) we stop to
winch a Cherokee up the switchback shelf, and down comes some ATVs. Of
course they couldn't wait 10 minutes, so down the side of the mountian
goes one of the ATVs. Well he flipped it then the barrel roll started,
rider-ATV-rider-ATV-rider-ATV-rider-ATV-rider-ATV-rider stops. ATV ends
with a double back flip with a 1/2 gainer finish. Beautiful ! The mountain smiled.
Rider was pretty bloody and banged up, ATV was a loss.

The Jeep HOOKED UP this weekend and was unstopable. It surprised me
actually, as I was only running 12psi on grooved 38 SXs (non-bead lock).
Did RML twice even. Never saw any Traid folks, but ran into lots of
other folks I hadn't seen in awhile. URE sure is fun when it's muddy.

I kept my eyes open looking for Carver and his crew and never saw em....but after I broke a hub I headed home....3WD don't cut it in THAT slick stuff :(

I took my ATV up once last year just to see what the fuss was about. It is so much more fun in a rig! I'd take my jeep/toyota anyday over an ATV up there. you are going to hurt yourself on an atv if you go on daniel and dutch john a few times.

We were looking for you too...Caver was pulling winch duty on my junk. Was it your Bronc that came into ACG with the fronts pointing in 2 different directions?

Didn't see Scarface up on Daniel either...

Too much time spent picking the mud out of my ears...

Cool. Makes repair easy.

We had that BIG F250 SD that blew out a U-joint on his TTB44...got to winch him all the way up to and across Kodak...

My damage report: one bent tierod, one mangled steering stabilizer, one
toasted ujoint, one fubar'd stub shaft, one bent ear on outer axle
shaft, leaking (more than before) rear pumpkin, one new body
dent/scratch on front right fender...who knew? never felt that one!,
slightly mangled driver side step, cracked blackwater tank on camper
(???), ripped up tarp.

All in all, an excellent weekend.

I dunno, sounds "shitty" to me!!

year before last i was at ure and a guy tried going down kodak rock on his 4 wheeler. needless to say it nose dove and he superman'd it into the dirt. The 4 wheeler rolled on top of him, knocked him out cold for a good 15 minutes. I had to pull out the ole army rescue tactics. And of course he didnt have a helmet. Funny thing is is he was an older fella too, probably late 50s. he shoulda known better.

Yep...no helmet wearing fools. I was talkin to my brother about this same thing this weekend. Usually the no-helmet are the ones on utility quads, but we even saw some this weekend on 300and400 ex etc.

I guess that it is just Darwinism at its finest....elminating stupidity from the gene pool.... :smokin:
