I am installing a 2" BB lift on my 94 ZJ (DD, Just for looks) I have never installed a lift on a vehicle with coils before, but I have heard of the dangers of working with coils. (My dads friend has no bottom teeth because of a bad experience). I was wondering if anyone had any safety tips to keep myself from taking a trip to the hospital. Also if anyone has any general tech tips from installing this type of litf that would be helpful.

Most of the spring compressors you can rent from places like auto zone have a little safety pin built into them. Its not perfect, but better than nothing. While compressing the spring, i hope you have an air tools, because compressing the springs with a wrench will be the longest part of the project. Just becareful and take your time, its not hard. The first one you do will go slow, but you will figure out ways to save yourself time on the next one you do.
