during the 2005 invasion of Fallujah, our troops (Army and Marines) set up huge speakers on top of their vehicles, and constantly blasted metal into the city, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. it pumped up the troops, but also think about it, if you were a hadji who hated western culture, it would mess with your head to hear AC/DC and metallica day after day after day bouncing down every alleyway.
The actual attack on fallujah started out with "Back in Black" by AC/DC
also back in 2003 against the Taliban, the us army used loud music for a week to hide the sound of approaching armored vehicles that stormed the target on the 8th day of playing the music, and caught the Taliban off-guard
makes me proud to know that our music can cause such problems to the sand people
