Ok...I attempted to change plugs and wires and cap and rotor

obviously im an idiot and crossed up some wires.

Can anyone help? Be specific, as you are talking to an idiot!

I got all the plugs in, but i think i got wires wrong.

Why in the #$!^@@ do they put the dist cap under the cowl, about a foot and a half back under the $#% thing? No answer needed for this, just firing order please. Again, Be specific and speak slowly!!

Oh yes, if it matters , its a 95 1500 4x4 w/ 360

This information is also cast into your factory manifold, however, most aftermarket intakes do not include this information in their castings.

#1 cylinder on the slant six is at the front of the engine
#1cylinder on the V-6 and V-8 engines is on the drivers side front of engine.
#2cylinder on the V-6 and V-8 engines is on the passenger side front of engine.

yee Haw!! Thanks Rob! Your drawing says a million words!

I have the wires going 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 around the cap....Going back for attempt 3 The drawing rocks dude.
At mid-night.

Out of an old Chilton's dude, $16 saves a lot of time.
Nc4x4 and all the good folks saves even more time..and $

Thanks man, It worked just fine. The pic. is just what i needed. I have done this 20 times on other vehicles, by just doing it one at a time, but the dist. is in a hard to see/get to position on this truck, that i just screwed up. Thanks again!

And thank you too,CRLracer qand tknopp!

Damn that one must have been a beeeeotch to hook up :flipoff2:

Technically of course the cap doesnt have a "#1" position, you can start wherever as long as you have the rotor pointed at it when #1 piston is TDC CS.

But in this case #1 needs to be where #1 was.
