Whats the best inline fuel filter setup for diesel. Whether it be trucks, skid steers, tractors, generators, etc. Got multiple pieces of equipment here and looking to better protect components. Quality and Effectiveness is more important than cost

    Thanks!

Just look at the specs of the fuel filters and see what you can fit with the diameter and threads. I've got a Donaldson 3 micron absolute fuel filter and a Baldwin water separator on my AirDog, and a Baldwin 2 micron absolute under the hood with an adapter on the factory fuel filter head.

My tractor and excavator get Baldwin fuel filters too, but I'm not as concerned with them as I am my LB7 injectors. I think Fleet Guard has some with good micron ratings also. If there's nothing that'll fit with a good micron rating, you can always just get a generic filter head that'll fit whatever filter you want to run.
