just looking for opinions have a 99 Durango with 5.9 & about 150,000 miles engine runs strong and tows well but seems to take extended time to upshift maybe like governor sticking should I go with a reman trans and fix little odds and ends. or should I get something newer? Its a real gashog but it sure tows what I need it to Thanks Tom:)

Tom, look up how to adjust the TV (throttle valve) cable. If it is out of adjustment you will have similar symptoms. Super easy to adjust since the adjustment is at the throttle body. Lemme know if you need a hand with it.

It's usually cheaper to keep what you have...if you're considering something that's "new" new. I hate car payments and more expensive insurance. However, I know how much a 360 likes gas. You could always pick up a 94-98 1/2 ton Dodge with a 318. They're great trucks as long as the dash hasn't fallen apart yet :D
