Located in the northeastern part of Tennessee, just 10 miles off 25E, between Morristown and Tazewell, Chinquipin is a privately owned park that has designated open rides throughout the year. Twenty acres of natural ROCK playground will challenge any vehicle and driver capabilities with pure hardcore crawling (expect body damage and parts breakage, so come prepared). Roll cage and seat belts are mandatory. www.chinquipinoffroad.com

The Carolina Trail Blazers 40th Anniversary Fun Caravan will host the SFWDA 3rd Quarter Meeting on September 10, 2011, from 9 am to 10 am. The Fun Caravan weekend is a tradition of one of the oldest Off-Road clubs in the USA.

CTB will host field games, starting at approximately 11:00 am, that will include an obstacle course, RTI ramp, trail rides... food, fun, fellowship and, uh… a little 4-wheeling! Dinner will be served at 7 pm, where Chris Cagle and his crew from the Eldorado Outpost will provide their delicious Grilled Chicken and fixings. The CTB meeting will take place at 8:00 pm, followed by the trophy presentation for the day’s winners and finally, the RAFFLE. There will be a night ride at 10:00 pm til….. whenever someone breaks or they can no longer stay awake.

The Fun Caravan has a new location for this year, across from the Eldorado Outpost on the site of the proposed UHWARRIE OFF ROAD TRAINING CENTER. This is a large area that has been donated exclusively for our use for the entire weekend by long time Montgomery County resident and Uwharrie National Forest volunteer, Scott Fields, the owner of UORTC.
