You might benefit from jumping up a line size at the pump. The high flow pumps are running -16 inlets and -8 outlets. It might help push the volume when sawing the wheel back and forth and keep the fluid a little cooler. Just a guess though.

Hoping the dual pumps will help with that also. I may change the suction side over for now and do the pressure one when the wallet heals some.

And i know what it's like not to catch a winning scenario.
 
Even with the solids I would connect it to your highsteer arm. Be hard pressed to break it then. Have not been able to touch mine after doing it.
