CJ5 Tire Carrier Question

Been searching through all of the major 4X4 websites (quadratec, morris, 4wheel parts, and so on) and it seems nobody makes an aftermarket swing away tire carrier for CJ5''s. Everything is for CJ7's and up based on the fitment guides. Will the 7's fit the 5's without modification? Wouldn't trust the stock carrier with an oversized tire. Just curious as to what you guys with 5's are doing for an oversized carrier.
