It's time for the 3rd annual "TOYS for ROCKS" toy run at Callalantee OHV park in Mountain City Tn.
Paul has stepped up again and is donating the use of the park on Saturday August the 8th, 2009.
The daily fee will be waived if you bring a new unwrapped toy to help the community center give smiles and joy to Children in Johnson Co. Tn. This Christmas.
All toys will stay in the county and help those here that need the help.
Special thanks to The CTB's and The BDB's for stepping up and supporting this years event as a "club ride"
Last year was a huge success and we look forward to meeting everyone again and meeting new folks. We collected over 400 toys to give out as well as new shoes, jackets and gloves etc.
The community was very happy and pleased that we as a group stepped up and helped those in need:beer:
So:
Who: Everyone is invited to spend the day wheelin' and helping out kids
What: A toy run!!! and a great day of wheelin' with friends and family
When: Saturday 8th of August, We will have volunteers collecting toys like last year from 8 am til' 12pm......don't feel bad if your running late, stop by the first cabin and get your pass
WHere: Callalantee OHV Park in Mountain City, Tn
Why:To help out kids and Wheel for free...in exchange for a new unwrapped toy.
Ther are no Scheduled rides,Everyones here to have fun and not wait around when they could be wheelin' or breakin' or getting stuck.
So when you arrive donate a toy and if your alone grab a group with like rigs and follow them........:driver:
We thank everyone in advance
Thankyou

I post more and answer ?'s later

Last year was a blast. Still have the mud under the hood to prove it

Might make it this year if I still have the Jeep.

In.

Been working getting ready for this event, some updates:
Saturday evening we will be offering a BBQ plate like we did last year to those that show up to participate in the toy run.
For the BBQ plate you will need to:
BYOB and BYOC (bring your own chair)

We will feed at the cabin like last year, the cabin will be off limits since theres not much room inside while serving
Hope to see everyone there

I will be there for sure.....and my rig will more than likely be broken down on the side of the trail the whole time.

Planning on being there- missed last year. Do alot of people plan to camp out that night?

the dawg should be there.

Hey Dawg....Lemme know if you need a hang getting your truck ready. I'll come up there and help out if needed.

lots of people camp in the field.
Our ZU and friends crew will be around the cabin.
I may shoot for Thursday night set up or first thing Friday morning staying until Sunday. (anyone gonna be up there for friday wheelin? Lemme know)
There is plenty of room for camping in the main area.
Just be mindful of the space needed for trailers and such.
A few photos from last year: and this is just one side of the campground

Swampy is ready to rock...It could use a trackbar on the front axle but can live without it.

Thanks Rbert....The converter went bad.....then something that makes the mixer prime for starting....It has a carb now and I have been running the shit out of it back behind the house.
