Who's going and where can I get a spot for my truck/trailer? I want to go this year and take my truck camper. Is there parking somewhere on site for truck/trailer combo? I've never been to Windrock.
 
Windrock has a very nice campground.
 
We will be heading up Thursday afternoon. Staying at Windrock gap campground.
 
What kind of racist event is this?
 
Robbie and I are going. As far as i know, we booked the last spot in the Windrock campground when we were up there earlier this year.
 
BDB will be there in full force. We’re all bunched together at Windrock Gap campground. Over a dozen of us.
 
Windrock and Windrock gap RV spots are full. Only easy option is RV overflow at Windrock, which should be just fine. Just trying to figure out how to get the 2 buggies and JLUR up there behind the pusher; wife really doesn’t want to drive separate.
 
By any chance anyone going to this that has either an extra slot on a trailer OR a truck they would be willing to haul a rig and trailer? Pretty positive the only way I can make it to Windrock or Harlan is without towing lol, poor wifey just not gonna happen. My trailer has new HD tires, not the mobile home crap, and pulls great. Thought was worth looking into, thanks.
 
Going up Wednesday and will be at Windrock Gap-- of note we stayed there in the spring and the spots are narrow. Not enough room to "double up" like a lot of other spaces. The bath house was one of the BEST.
 
I think ill try this one night....

I reserved a spot for Thursday-Sunday at the overflow camping at the park. I'm not able to go now. If anyone wants it let me know before I cancel.

X2. I have a RV spot reserved at overflow camping that I’m not using. Just way too much going on multiple weekends in a row.
 
I may be cancelling my spot at Windrock Gap and staying over on the Royal Blue Side.....I'll know by tomorrow. IF we do end up going the other direction does here want to claim that reservation?
 
I will not be able to attend this year due to recent emergency surgery, and another surgery coming up in a few weeks. I have a spot at Windrock gap campground if anyone wants it, let me know, before I cancel it.
 
I'm going and I'm staying in the SFWDA area, I will be 2 months out of surgery and this will be my test. Should be OK, I hope.

Hope you guys got through before the shit happened on I 40 just west of Asheville. We’re not moving and haven’t for a long time.

Overall had a great weekend. Never been there before. Man there are Some really long trails out there. :eek: One piece of good advice that was told to me before I showed up was make sure your gas tank is full!! Used almost all of it all weekend.

got to see some familiar faces and sorry I missed a couple of you guys. Went looking for you Paul! Next time!
