Lol it’s ok I been doing a lot of research and studying and I’ve very never hanicly inclined so if I dnt find someone this week ima end up trying it myself usually I always come out good but it’s just really makes me uneasy till I do some more research lol I wana do it so I know how In The future but I’d just rather have someone with a lot of experience help or coach me so I dnt mess it up but if need be I’ll do it I mean I built my own shift rails for dual tcase a on my last truck cause I couldn’t afford to buy the different ones I needed lol

But I do at least have some questions for the man with the plan I got a used air locker and it bench tests fine should there be anything I should absolutely do to it or replace in or on it before I put it in other then the carrier bearings??

I learned on Toyota thirds... They are pretty easy. Now, I might not build a million mile diff, but the do fine in a crawler. I have not looked, but I bet there is a YouTube video that gives you a bunch of info. Get the crush sleeve eliminators. Get your specs right and post the pattern up and you should be gtg

I can't remember, is this a carrier replacement scenario? Or is it like the lunchbox deals where you fit it inside the carrier in place of the spider gears?
If its the latter, it really is not that hard, and there's no disruption of the ring gear.
