Hi and thanks for the add. Just wanting to know if there is anywhere near me to go off roading. Uwharrie don't open til March. Had my jeep about a year and love it. I live in Madison which is near Greensboro and winston kinda ... I don't know any other jeep owners.

Nice Rubicon! Uwharrie is about it these days. Many of us travel to TN, KY, WV and and such to go wheeling. We’ve lost places over the last few years.

@Desertfox1023 is heading to Kairos soon, might could tag along with him. That’s a great place to ride not terribly far away.

Hey Scott, if you are in Madison then we're close. I'm in Wentworh. There a quite a few of us Jeep owners close by.

That jeep be great at horsepower Park come check it out

Another Jeep owner in Wentworth, plus one of my good friends is also in Wentworth over near James.

Patriot Mountain is right outside of Boone. Small place and not very challenging for those of us who are somewhat modified but it's a great place to get your feet wet off road. Joel Church is the owner and a heck of a nice guy.

March will be here before you know it! I grew up in Wentworth and currently live in Winston. Welcome to the board!

I mostly wheel in my dreams and on NC4x4.com . But in real life, this year I plan to go to Uwharrie, Potts, and hit the DBBB. I'd like to hit Harlan again this year, but it will depend on work and funds.
Took my 01 Xj with a 3” lift all over Uwharrie except 2 trails.

I want to take my stock 2018 frontier pro4x out there. Little nervous about how it’ll do and effing it up lol.

I want to take a week and hit potts and the DBBB and maybe a spot in TN on the way back to NC . Camping trailside at night of course.

It would be fine on most of the trails. Might drag a little on new erosion berms early in the year.

Sounds like a good trip! My brother and I did about 75% of the DBBB last year (fuel pump failure held us up). We are planning to go back and finish the whole loop this time.

You will do fine all over the park. That truck can do whatever you want out there with some carefull spotting but like already said will drag some on the erosion berms. We are always bringing stock frontiers and xterras with us during our runs.

Would it be possible to get up with you on a run sometime? I hate the idea of going alone Incase I get stuck lol
