So I purchased a 2001 3500 truck has 256k.
Purchased from the owner of a diesel shop in the area says it has a revmax stage 5 kit in it with billet convertor. He gave me a receipt and all that jazz.

However its having a hard shift from 2 to 1.

If I roll slowly to a stop sometimes you can feel it bump sometimes its smoother.

If i rapid stop about time the truck would rock stopped it jars the truck pretty good. Almost feels like a car bumped me from behind.

So anyone here have any advice ? Or know the best place for diagnosis around the Charlotte area?

Of course I've googled....
I have replaced the temp sensor
I have lubed the driveshaft
I've left the batteries unplugged hoping that would reset the ecm tcm.

Revmax is off of Westinghouse Blvd in Southwest Charlotte, so maybe swing by there and ask them?

Also, that's my wife's name, so I figured I might have some really good insight, but I was wrong.

If you have a Facebook, look up No Zone Diesel or Dmitri Millard. He can probably talk you through some things to look for.

Or you could call up Direct Injection Engineering and talk to Jesse Klennon. He builds some mean Allisons as well.

My dad always takes his duramax to Sprinkles Complete Truck Repair, it’s in Salisbury but Paul up there seems to know his stuff and does good work
