Large decal/sticker removal

I need to remove some large decals from the side of a box van and looking for a faster alternative than a heat gun.Years ago they made a round rubber eraser looking thing that you could use on a die grinder of drill but from what I can remember they were kinda expensive and didn't last long.Any suggestions???

Get the 3M eraser wheels, seem to do better and last longer. If you hadn't tried the heat gun, that may be your fastest way. Really depends on the decal. Some are easy, some are like rock.
 
Chemicals, talk to a sign shop or sign shop supplier. They got stuff to do this.

second the 3m wheel i got another brand and it didnt work good got the 3m and was done pretty fast
 
High pressure pressure washer.. saw one on hydraulic press channel that would do the job nicely. Iirc it was like 45,000 psi. Or more. Units may be wrong, but it would slice through body panels with a narrow tip, or just strip the paint off instantly with a wider tip.
 
That'd definitely do it! We use a water jet with a spinning nozzle to strip metal spray off of our parts at work. Same thing though, you can cut it in half if you don't keep it moving!

Crank it to 11 and go. Has always worked well with mine. Have to watch out when washing stuff that I want to keep stickers on. Equipment and stuff...
