Not at all. It's an event to honor vets. I didn't serve, but pops was a navy man, so every year I chauffeur him around as his "liaison to offroad". But by all means COME!!

i would try to make it out there in a bone stock jku with my son who has never been wheeling

There should be people riding trails friday, a few of us will be there Thursday night so just stop by and I'm sure you can find a group to go

OK... I don't know for sure yet what my plans are... BUT... DLOR from Chapel Hill just offered me a free riding mower. I am wondering if anyone from near his area would be willing to haul it down this way for me. I'm still under medical restrictions for at least another week so I am between a stone and a hard place as far as getting anything done myself. if anyone can offer some assistance it will be greatly appreciated! Let me know. ThanX!!!

Well in my dumbassness, I overlooked the fact you had to pre-register for the rides and well, they were all full. I figured wth, I just headed out early to hit Daniel. I must say it is a little worse than I remembered. And to my surprise it was not crowded, like no one! Anyway made it up and hanging around to see if anyone else shows up.

We hit the back side of Daniel early yesterday. Went to the top for a view. I looked around and didnt see any sign of recent travel. Dickey bell had some traffic on the hill climb. Came back down and talked to some True Patriot guys. Then we headed home at dark. Hate I miss yall.
