So, here is my take on my first Dixie Run.....AWESOME! I (heard) attendance was down but that just meant trail riding ALL day EVERY day! Hit the trails mid-afternoon on Thursday without reading the trail map. We went in the buggy entrance. Figured that out real fast after we got sideways 25% of the way up the first climb. Pucker factor was in full effect but I straightened Yolanda out real quick and went to find some blue trails. Rode ALL day Friday. In the woods by 9 and out for dinner and beer. Same Saturday. We spent most of Saturday on black trails. Last ride of the day I needed to go out in style so I laid Yolanda over on a blue trail. Some of the labeling on the trails is inaccurate  I had more seat time this trip than ever before. Could've stayed another 2 days easy.

Some of those blues were certainly challenging. My group did 90, 91, 92 and 93 Saturday afternoon and thought calling them blues was slightly off. They were borderline black. They were just as challenging as 57, which is a black.

I had a blast. Enjoyed riding in Yolanda with @D2320M and hitting the trails with @Lorenzo816 and hanging out.

I think we were on the same trail ride Saturday afternoon ?

I'm thinking no. That trail in your video didn't look familiar and I don't remember anyone who did the fainting goat impersonation.

OK @D2320M, that now makes more sense. Maybe @89wrangler and I were on the same ride Saturday afternoon then. I'm pretty sure there was a tank JKU in my group. I was for the most part behind the primer grey pickup.

I was in front of the Primer gray truck...lol
I guess next time there is an event, we need to set up a time for a meet and greet so we can at least introduce ourselves.
