2019 Silverado 4500 hd, 600 miles on it so far. It pulls my 10000 pound suburban around no problem.

4wd? Regardless, needs bigger tires with more tread!

And thats almost enough truck

Congrats on the new truck.

Why the change in body style from a 3500? What drivetrain does it have?

It shares the same cab and engine as the 3500, just has a tilt front end, which makes maintenance and repairs a little easier. Monroe is in development of a bed that is 4 inches longer than the 8 foot bed which will cost around 14,000.00. I built a subframe and a headache rack to fill the 4 inch gap and paid 2500.00 for a new takeoff bed. Power train is 6.6 duramax ,allison 2000 auto transmission,Dana 70 front, rear might be a Dana 110 if I’m not mistaken.

wth is the point of these trucks with pickup beds......go but an f450 or 550 truck and get a bed in mdt range....or go full MDT and get a freightliner, international, etc....

Because America dammit!

How is that thing on fuel? I assume it's an L5P just like the standard pickups have? If so, that kinda sucks because they're STUPID expensive to tune....but it IS possible :D They've been running them at max effort 520hp for a while now and they seem to be holding up quite well, even with the transmissions being stock.

I want to see this 4000lb slide in, @BigClay has a big one that weighs 2700lbs and the only one I’ve seen bigger that his was @Rox&Mud, not sure what his weighs.

16.5 on the highway 13 around town and towing so far. I doubt I tune it.

You sleep 6 in that camper? I don't see the space for that.

Twins on the way due in December. Going to be fun starting over my son is 16, and a 5 year old daughter. There is some bigger floor plans out now with twins on the way I’m going to need something bigger.

Wow! I watched the video, that’s a heck of a slide in. Amazing to say the least, and I like the one piece seamless roof and aluminum construction.

I don’t see how a normal pickup would still have access to the hitch but if I was going to do a ton of traveling and wanted a slide in, that’d be the one.
