The Work Travel Thread

I have family in Harford county, Maryland and would move there ASAP if it weren’t so expensive, but I wouldn’t care too much to live in that area of PA. Lancaster county is an interesting area, you have the Amish, mingled with the families that have lived there all their lives, plus the transients that commute to Philly for work.
I like Lancaster pretty good and we go to the mud sales up there every winter but I always leave there w questions about what seems to be the conflicting ideals/lifestyles of the Amish.

Had some fresh squeezed sugarcane juice on the side of the road in Brazil today. A bit of lime and it's super tasty.

Would you believe I had to ask this guy to turn his loud ass music down? He also felt the need to talk on speaker phone.

Generally when people do that, it's intentional and they're HOPING to provoke a response. Asking them to turn it down may work for 3 minutes. Then it's back up. You can't reason with someone who started with no regard for others. It's been my experience that it's not even worth my effort. Much like those that pull up to a gas pump with windows down blaring the most gawd awful "music" and then walk into the store for 20 minutes, leaving their car stereo up for all to enjoy the beats

I think the same thing. What's even funnier is ones that walk around with headphones around their neck, but music blasting from the phone as they walk around a store or something.

Much like those that pull up to the only diesel pump with windows down blaring the most gawd awful "music" and then walk into the store for 20 minutes, leaving their car stereo up for all to enjoy the beats

Can hardly smell the urine in the streets from my balcony. I hate coming here.
