Dang, what are you hauling now?

2016 Chevrolet 3500 Express EXT (155 wb), 12 passenger, 3.42 gear, 6.0, 6l80, 31 gallon tank.

Configured in picture, 21' rolls rite, 17' tilt, 4' stationary, 7k axles, and of course the comanche. Grossed 17k without seats, loaded for camping and rockcrawling for the Dixie Run last week.

Cruised at 75 mph, topped black mountain at 65. Quietest, smoothest, towing experience I've had in many years. Very well controlled, great braking, thanks to electric brakes on both axles and great downshifting from the 6l80. Zero porpoiseing (excellent characteristic for srw), zero sway, well controlled from a suspension and braking standpoint. I fully expected this trip to leave me wanting to add airbags, but that won't be happening.

Averaged round trip, 10 mpg. 3 mpg better than my v10 f450 with an empty trailer... 2 mpg better than my 6.4 f450 with no trailer... Same mpg with my 08 lmm duramax dually with my 24' deckover and buggy/ camping.

Sleeping set up.

2- 32x80 cots, plenty of storage underneath- did not interfere with sleepin on the cot, and low enough to sit upon to dress. Ran the ac while in the shower house, shut the engine down, turn on a oscillating fan... in the sleeping bags within 10 minutes; 60° outside temp.

Mattix and I camped this weekend. Queen mattress in the floor with only first 2 rows of seating removed. Comfortable set up as well.

Mattix's first fish...

Hillbilly Deluxe the morning we left for Dixie Run. Gear, spare parts, full cooler, and groceries tipped the scales at 23,000 pounds. Still managed 10.3 mpg’s round trip running 5 over the limit.

Good looking setup. What are the specs on the trailer?

34’ PJ Buggy Hauler with triple 7K axles. Brakes on all 3. HD ramps.

Snagged this to haul the tractors and my yard ornaments. Wasn’t really looking for one, never really considered one for as infrequently as I’d need it. But for the price was tough to pass on and won’t have to worry about borrowing a buddy’s trailer/rollback now.

You don't think you'll need one until you get one. It'll be hooked to your truck more often than you think!

Weird....didn't even know they made a 329!

Hauling off an old worn out DET Saw at work today

If I knew what that was, I'd probably try to buy it from you!

(And you wouldn't believe how hard it is to figure out what a "Det saw" is without any context because of the movie Saw)

You wouldn't have wanted it, was slap wore out and parts for it are obsolete. Plus it was designed in England, so metric non-sense engineering everywhere.

For anyone else who is  DET->Double End Tenoner/Trim

You just accurately described half the machines in my shop

I change trailers like some people change underwear. Sold the 5th wheel trailer and m916 because they were worth a lot more gone than if they stayed. Picked up this 25 ton trailer today, hydraulic ramps so no more picking up heavy ramps.

I wish I had the money to play with that you do!

I plan to be at Uwharrie camping this Saturday. Pulled the bed off a trailer I bought earlier this year so I can use this trailer to haul the RZR down. With minor modification the RZR should be a perfect fit. This would be a really cool buggy hauler too, I think it is rated for 9k lbs and only weighs probably 2-3k empty.

The bed is attached with 4 container locks which I thought was a pretty awesome idea.

Someone once told me you had to be a millionaire to get started in the military surplus business. A millionaire I am not and never have been haha. I only have 4 m1078's, two wreckers, one 5-ton, and three HMMWV's right now haha. If only they all ran/drove I'd be golden... 2.5 out of 10 ain't bad though right?
