Lets See a Pic of Your tow rig and trailer.

New to me 97 F350 cab and chassis. 7.3 5 speed 4x4. Completely stock when I got it. I have done a Tymar style intake and 4" stainless steel turbo back exhaust. Drug the Jeep nicely to Cape Hatteras and back last week.

THAT is what a truck should look like!

Replacing my dad's old '88 Ford rollback with this beast. '06 F650, 5.9 Cummins, Allison 5 speed auto, 21' steel bed. The graphics gotta go, but it's one helluva truck.

It's a work truck, but I'll be pulling my Jeeps with it too. Just picked up a couple vans in Wilmington this morning, truck couldn't even tell they were there.

Sold my 2008 F250 a few weeks ago. Been going back and forth between buying a cheapish truck for around $10k (05-07 6.0 Ford) or a newer truck in the $20-25k range (2011+ 6.7 Ford or 2010+ 6.7 Ram). Was ready to drive to south Florida for one (sold within 3 hours of posting), and Nebraska and Kentucky for a couple others, but just couldn't quite pull the trigger. Then last thursday, my Craigslist search alert emailed me about one in Iron Station, NC, which is 10 minutes from my house. Posted at 12:30, I called them at 1:30, and we had a deal by 2:45pm. I've already had a trailer behind it, but didn't get any pictures because it was after dark. Pulls awesome. Not as strong as my tuned 6.4, but the gearing in the 6 speed transmission is much better than the 5 speed in the older trucks. I look forward to inviting you all to my 65th birthday party, and the AARP has already sent me some membership cards.

Now the question is.... when are you buying another bed and starting the RAMbox conversion? You know youre itching to.

No joke. I really wanted a 2014+ Ram 2500 with the air suspension and Ramboxes, but I need a truck I'm not afraid to beat up, so I gotta wait til they come down to everyman prices. I've got something else in mind for this F250. You know I'll post pics if/when it happens.

Time to get that jewel some tunes! If I'm not mistaken, it's sorta pricey to tune the 6.7s though...

I figured no need to rush because I've been out of town since about 12hrs after I bought the truck. Of course being gone and not getting to play with my new toy is driving me crazy! But brown santa has possession of a tuner and some flanged SS pipe with my name on it.

[crusty old 1950's father that grew up in depression] You don't need a NEW toy.....you've got one in the garage that ain't been played with in YEARS!!! [/crusty old 1950's father that grew up in depression]

Mine on the way out of Dixie Run. 2015 2500 Cummins and a 34’ PJ Buggy Hauler.

Not my trailer, but a guy I work with. He could use the Company trailer, but it's not what He wants. He Had a Great trailer, of his own, to go with His 2015 Super Duty. But, Had to have a 2016 Super Duty, & Now Another New Trailer, better than last years model. Electric/Hydraulic Ramp, more tool boxes, more wheels [dually], & stained wood floor! to haul a skid steer & attachments around. Me thinks he makes Too much $$!

It happened. Only pic I've got right now.

Installed a Bedslide. Now I can keep all my crap (up to 1500lbs of it anyway) dry and locked and easily accessible. Even my short self can reach stuff that was at the front of the bed without climbing in!

That's sad. And awesome. Both at the same time.

I will say that I only dislike a few things about our camper shell. The fact that everything has to come and go out the back of the truck is one of them. It all ends up in a huge pile on the tailgate.

It solves the problem I didn't have. Toolbox takes up too much bed space. Grandpa cap prevents toolbox and bed access, but is lockable and dry. Bedslide restores access. Rambox solves all of these problems (and would even work well with a bedslide!)

There's not a cap that allows the use of the rambox, though. Not sure how the bed slide would last in the elements.

Can't store tall stuff but the Leer Locker is a neat space addition for a cap also.

Contractor windows ftw. I haven't owned a top without them.

But I don't need a cap, I just need a place to store tools/chainsaws/crap locked and out of the elements. I'd prefer the open bed. Don't really want people thinking @GONOVRIT and I are in the same retirement home.
