Because Race Shop - Left Eye Blind Racing

New resto-mod project pulling in to the north shop. Only 'definite' so far is the customer wants a 383. Should be an interesting build to see come to life.

Didn't want to drop $600 on glass fenders, not a real fan of cut outs...soooo decided to play around a bit. Wheel well lifted about 1" and stretched about 1.5" on each end...

Been wanting to try this with my 2wd '78 F-250 fenders...installed a set of 35's on 16x10 wheels once. Cleared at rest, but no up travel clearance.

Hindsight I woulda liked to add a 1-1.5" bulge as well, but I'll try that later. This will be more economical for customers. If someone sent in good cores, could probably do it for $300 primed, otherwise it will be on par with glass. Have to finish these up first though.
