I'm starting to plot some shows for next year. Just moving back a couple months ago, I wasn't prepared to make any big trips. All my trucks are still in storage actually.

The newest project...should have a new wrenching buddy in about 6 months.

Was looking for warehouse space to consolidate vehicle/parts and gain more storage...and set up a small machine shop. This 30x40 popped up for a song close to my folks, so why not. Should be good for more vehicles and parts, machine shop was a long play anyway. Already wired, just need Duke power to turn it on.

That is really neat to me being from Aiken, SC My family has been buying from that dealer for years.

That dealership must have been one helluva performance center back in the day. Kris is trying to get his hands on a 70 Boss 302, from a friend of his father. Same dealership, car needs restoration, at one point was repainted from the original available green, to an ugly ass 70's yellow.

Last time I was over there the owner had his 60's Mustang in the Showroom and a couple of his cars in the service bay. IIRC one was a T-Bird from the 50's. I'm not at all surprised that dealer sold those cars with what we call the Bomb plant right down the road...... There are or were a ton of PHD's and well paid people associated with said plant. Beautiful area of SC but my opinion is biased.

It's the "bum" plant, it your are from around there.

Had some new parts roll in this weekend. The C10 project is starting to take direction. Slammed, bagged, 383, 4 linked, gonna toss a 9" in the ass end...because Ford shop...haha...

The day of reckoning is soon upon us, dyno day for these two builds. Was originally scheduled for the 21st, but now will be on a Saturday in the next month.

Project 400M intake is back from Jet Hot. Recap- shooting for highest hp/tq out of an NA 400 with stock stroke:

And then my turd...should be a jack of all trades, master of none. I needed it to do a lot of things well. And this build should also squelch a lot of myths floating around the internet about the 'monster' 460, especially since this is a 'crown jewel' 1970 iteration.

Sooo...found this 06 350 60 for $250...gonna try to find a newer local 10.5 for the e-locker option and I've read some of the 4.30 equipped trucks had 37spl shafts, but haven't confirmed. Then gonna see what I can do about kitting something up for pre-80 Fords...

You find another that cheap hook a brother up lol

LKQ in Salisbury is selling for $400, about the cheapest I've found. I have a never been used 2016 set I paid $1200 for sitting in Florida right now...just have to find someone heading that way or wait until the seller heads north or I head south.

Ahhh they have a LKQ here in town maybe they can ship it to here so I ain't gotta drive across the state.

From someone who has just spent 8 hours cleaning one of those super duty axles... stay away... unless you like to grind for hours with little to show for it.

Ha...what's that they say, call it a passion so you don't get put away???

Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably end up playing with a couple different set ups. I've already done a 90's ford one ton set up in the Bronco once. I haven't done a 78/9 swap in a bronco and retained coils...and I just like the beef of the SD tons. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.
