User assumes all risk.
I do not know the ID or the OD..but they're close to the same.
Never built a cage out of it..but I've seen it done.
I have the legs too..which you could use to make sheet metal mounted body armor.Ive never built those either, but I have seen it done.

Seen a many mud trucks use the bouncy material as mud proofing underneath. They swear by the durability of the stuff.
I've also seen guys at the Line Mountain races use a chunk of it in front of their radiator, and swap it out every 2 laps or so

With creativity... There is hope here!!!

All my gates around my mini-farm have tramp springs to shut them behind me. And I have 20 spares just in case I go into the gate building buisness.

The material is excellent for the kids sand boxes / planters / etc. for the membrane is close enough that weeds can't penetrate yet water can.

I could imagine some fancy metal yard art...

^ I'm gonna need more trampoline material to triple layer those straps for my lady Rosie. She ain't no fairy story, she ain't no skin and bones, but she gives it all she's got, weighting in at 19 stones

Whole lotta Rosie

Lol found a steel hammock stand that can be used to make the front stinger bumper, tie it into the trampoline roll cage!!!

Rocker panel stingers. Ftw

Just drive over...lift up and weld this to your rockers. Tip over protection for days.

Now you're thinking! And after you get the rocker panel stingers welded up, all you need to do is weld some sheet stock under it and you have a full belly skid plate!

^ nah use plastic kitchen cutting boards zip tied in, I hear all the pros are going to UHMW
It all worked that one day up at the flats where it was super dry, therefore end of discussion. since the woods/nature/weather are so predictable and boring why plan on needing anything else and don't dare try to tell me anything different. you guys don't know it all, you just have years and years of real, actual, seat-time experience.

Thinking about it, I think I would build the lower links out of sch. 80 or 160.

I thought i learned here on nc4x4 that angle iron was stronger than tube?

The science of metals makes a fascinating case study.

If I'd have paid more attention and partied less in school I swear I think there is a parallel going on between this thread and The Lord of Flies.

But I'm going to need someone smarter than I to draw it.... ;)

Maybe @trailhugger she always struck me as that front of the class teacher's pet nerdy type.
