Cheap lift someone put on it :poop:. The guy I bought it from said he had had it for a year and he bought it the way I received it so I'm just going to leave these in for now then upgrade later.

These rear sway bar mounts dig into the rear tires on the stock rims so I bought 2" spacers which I didn't take any pics of

Ok I got some tires on it now 31x10.50 15 Nexen roadian m/t's then we went mudding at putnam and even though these tires are cheap they dig awesome in the mud and the jeep did good I did break the steering link I hit a rut and it jerked the steering wheel out of my hand and stripped the threads out of the adjusting collar up near the pitman arm but I welded it back in and now I have a steering links from a V8 grand that I'm gonna put on this weekend

The 2" spacers put the wheels out just enough and I think it looks good without looking tacky.

When mudding I realized the rear tires rub the front back and top of the fenderwells so it's time to cut em to allow room which I hope to get done this weekend as well. So this pic shows the only body damage on the trip other than a few scratches.

x2 on the rear sway bar, it won't affect the road behavior of it and it'll even flex a little more in the rear.
Thanks also 99ncxj, as long as it won't hurt the road behavior I'm also going to get that sway bar off this weekend, I left it because I thought it would body roll to bad on the road but its coming off. Thanks.

I had a 3 inch lift on my XJ. I run 31s. I took the rear sway bar off and it flexed so much it rubbed the fenders hard. I ended up lifting the truck another inch and a half.

Ok i got my steering link on last night my old one is in the top of the pic and the new one out of the V8 grand is on the bottom look how much bigger the tierod and bar are on the left.

Loose the block and throw an s10 pack in there for your lift. I'd get a RE coil for the front and be done. XJ's have a problem with axle wrap and that block will make it worse. Looks like a good start.

truth ^^^ I've been a casualty of block/throttle induced wrap spitting out the rear driveshaft.

What year s10's because I have a 93 S10 4x4 that I've been parting out and I can put on there, how much lift will it give? And where can I get RE coils to match the rear with the S10 leafs?

The s10 pack can net anywhere from 3 - 5.5 inches depending on how you build it. If you go on NAXJA and search "bastard pack" you will find several write ups on it. When I did the last one I had I just found a used 3" coil and mixed the s10 leafs with the xj main to get the ride height I wanted. Some will even just run the s10 leaf pack. If its too long order a set of HD relocation brackets. THey are great to get the shackle agle back where it needs to be.

If you keep your eyes out for some used coils, they can be found for a deal, or you could go pull some V8 ZJ front coils, I believe its supposed to get you around 1.5" of lift, throw a coil spacer on top of it, and sit happy with about 3.5 inches of lift.
